Diptych Earrings in Silver

A pair of handmade, sculptural, tufa cast statement earrings in recycled sterling silver, designed by artist Maida Branch and crafted by Gino Antonio in the Navajo Nation. Tufa casting is a generations-old method developed by Navajo silversmiths using local carved porous volcanic stone, from New Mexico and Arizona, to cast molten metals. Each cast, a small work of art in and of itself, does not survive beyond a single process, making each piece a unique and detailed work of art. Stud backing and easy, comfortable to wear for everyday, or special occasions. Approximately 1 x 1 inches. Due to the nature of the casting process, each piece will differ with natural discrepancies intended.
