In celebration of spring, Catskills-based writer, illustrator, painter, and innkeeper Steven Weinberg explores his love of local flora and fauna through a collection of new paintings, some in extra grand scale, with an abstract nod to the artistry and tradition of fly fishing, its local settings, and the beautiful Brook Trout which have populated the regions's water bodies since the Ice Age. Steven taps into the intrinsically kinetic experience of working with watercolor, through the bubbles, gravity, ice, and other surprises that reveal themselves through the process of capturing an organic and ethereal energy. His installation also features a special selection of artist-painted clothing and housewares.
