Bone Ring in Silver

A thin, elegant, subtly detailed ring, inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estés 'Skeleton Woman', an Inuit story, that explores the cycle of life and death in nature and love. Designed by artist Maida Branch and handmade by Gino Antonio in the Navajo Nation, the ring design extends slightly outwards, with a delicate gap, to mimic the shape of bone structure. Beautiful worn alone or stacked with additional bone rings to form an abstracted skeletal framework. Tufa cast in recycled sterling silver, using a generations-old method developed by Navajo silversmiths where casts are created from local, hand-carved volcanic stone, making each piece a unique and detailed work of art. Approximately 1mm in width.
