An incredibly special, daily art piece for drinking, designed to leave out in the open, and use with intention. Made from wild micaceous clay using a time tested technique of forming and carving, to create a unique, architectural bulb shape with a heavy weighted base that tapers up to a more delicate finish at the top. Pit fired with local red cedar under the 2/5/23 full moon, then sanded with sandstone, polished using river stone, and cured with elk marrow and bees wax. The soft charcoal black color varies in depth and warmth from the firing smoke marks, making each piece exceptionally unique with expected natural variations. Harvested and made in Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico. Approximately 3 x 3.5 inches. Beautifully paired with the artist's Vessel 8.
